No More Tears

I was laying bed, crying and my bulldog who is always with me, realized I was crying and he came and put his face right up to mine. We stayed that way for a few moments and then he started to lick my tears away.

And you know, I couldn't continue feeling sorry for myself after that.

How could I?

Thank You God, for my sobriety...AND for my four-legged friends.

Mine is a cat named Burt. He loves me, and I him. Someone offered him a mate the other day (in a comment!) and I do not think he'd be any more interested in a female cat--than I would!

Thankfully not for the same reasons!

Oh, that is too sweet, I have three little pugs who when I cry do the same for me and it is impossible for me to continue on the path of sadness; for they are so happy and loving...

Hugs,

I read that you've started over recently. So glad you're back, and I hope you're finding the support and encouragement you need. I've started over way too many times...

I identified a lot with your last post. (Maybe...) It's hard work, having a relationship. I like that you're able to share your hurts or frustrations, even if you can't offer any pat answers.
